• SPORTS UPDATE (12-16-2024)

  Hello friends of The Linda,

  This is a sports update for the rest of December going into January

  There are some BIG games coming up that we will be showing on the BIG screen.

  We will start with Ohio State Football in the playoffs. One loss and it is over so we will play every game as long as they keep winning.

  Here is Ohio State's playoff schedule;

  Ohio State vs Tennessee Saturday, December 21 @ 8:00pm.

  Ohio State vs. Oregon Wednesday January 1 @ 5:00pm. (Rose Bowl)

  Ohio State vs. TBD Thursday January 9 @ 7:30pm (Orange Bowl)

  -or- Friday January 10 @ 7:30pm (Cotton Bowl)

  Ohio State vs. TBD Monday January 20th @ 7:30 (Chanpiionship)

  All sports events are FREE admission.

  16oz domestic beer and single servings of wine are $5.

  Below I will list additional options for games through the winter of 2025.

  This is not an official schedule so confirm games, times and dates with us.

  I am also interested in any feedback, requests and Linda sports stories.

  Here are some other big sporting events coming up over the next few months.

  NFL Football

  Sadly the Cleveland Browns are not likely to be involved with any more games people would be interested in.

  Since our beer and wine license does not include Sundays at this time we will probably not show the Super Bowl or any NFL playoff games. Hopefully next year we will have a license on Sundays and can play lot’s of NFL games.

  We might consider showing the NFL Draft now that the Browns finally have a first round pick again.

  NCAA Basketball - March Madness 2025.

  We will show any games that include OSU or other local college.

  We might show the final four and the championship anyway if we get enough response to determine we will have an audience.

  Sweet 16: March 27-28

  Elite Eight: March 29-30

  Final Four: April 5

  NCAA championship game: April 7

  NBA Basketball -

  The Cavs are doing great and will be fun to on the BIG screen.

  We will certainly show Cav’s playoff games in late April and May, but there might be a few important games during the regular season that people would attend. So this first game listed below is the test. If enough people join us we will do a lot more.
